Prototype Mark III
1 February 2015This prototype was built to revisit the technology used with the first prototype, once it was fully understand how to build a better electronics control unit. The engine did fire using "misted" water, but it was extremely unstable. Many components blew up. Tesla had a similar problem with his experiments. Eventually, better diode banks were used. The Suzuki G13B motor with modifications was used for testing. One of the photos shows four separate strings of diodes that were "vapourised" due to an energy containment issue.
Building Components
June/July 2012Erron Criddle, CEO, using a CNC Machine Centre and a Knee Mill to manufacture components for the prototypes. Over the years, various machines have been used including CNC machines, DRO lathes and carbon fibre/polycarbonate 3D printers.
Prototype Mark I
29 December 2008After five months of research into various ways of using water in an engine, a combustion chamber was built to replicate a methodology. It included two spark plugs (one for gaseous ignition, one for submersed ignition), a pressure relief valve, a pressure sensor and a pressure/vacuum connector. Various coils were tested, however no sufficient test-bench spark could be created.
